Abstract
In this study, we integrated segmented strip microfluidic device with surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor to realize an end-point assay for detecting IFN-_ that is critical for Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. With the DNA probe, we were able to specifically detect the IFN-_ at the concentration of 0.01 nM within 25 min. It has the potential for fast diagnosis test and was used for on-site deployment based on nitrocellulose membrane and segmented membrane design to regulate the flow rate during measurement process.
