Abstract
Optical detector modules based on Channel Photomultiplier technology have been developed with a dynamic range of 9 decades (109). Sensitivity ranges from the detection of single photons up to a count rate equivalent of 1 Gcps (Giga counts per second). Applications for the new CPM module include high throughput screening, time resolved fluorescence, luminescence and real-time PCR.
