Abstract
In this work, ZnMn2O4 microspheres (ZMO-MSs) were synthesized by solvothermal method. The synthesized microspheres were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The ZMO-MSs exhibited excellent electro-reduction performance towards H2O2 in alkaline media. The ZMO-MSs modified glassy carbon electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and amperometry. Linear amperometric responses for H2O2 was obtained in a wide range from 0.02 to 15 mM with detection limit of 0.13 µM and high sensitivity of 277.1 mA M-1cm-2. The proposed sensor was successfully applied for the determination of H2O2 in milk, indicating a promising platform for practical applications.
