Abstract
The influence of outside factors, such as temperature, polarization of the probing laser beam, the size of the magnetic field, on the formation of the multilevel measuring and controlling system has been analyzed. The use of the optical bistability (OB) phenomenon, as an alternative mechanism for creating such systems, has been proposed. Using layer crystals of the Pbl2-type as an example, we have demonstrated the possibility of operating the development of nonlinear outgoing characteristics with the aim of controlling the size of signals in metrology systems.
